And you too can tour the set, paying $25 to see the interiors of the homes, according to Shelter Pop. There are reportedly thousands of fans still visiting the 1985 set of this popular film.
The scenes took place at four different locations, according to Movie Locations Guide.

Posted in Manhattan Real Estate, Manhattan Real Estate News

Nicole Kidman
The West Chelsea starchitecture district has seen a lot of big buys, but not necessarily from the biggest names. All that’s about to change! The Post’s Jennifer Gould Keil reports that Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban have picked up one of the penthouses at 200 Eleventh Avenue. Kidman and Urban paid $10 million for the penthouse, which was listed for $12.5 million. They’ll also get access to the building’s Sky Garage, an automatic car elevator that might be a fun place to film a musical number for a future Kidman movie.
$3 billion more for jobless homeowners
By Hibah Yousuf
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — The Obama administration is making $3 billion in additional funds available to help troubled homeowners avoid foreclosure.
One part of the plan, announced Wednesday, includes a new $1 billion program that will offer loans to unemployed borrowers at risk of losing their homes. The loans, which will be dispersed through nonprofit and housing agencies, will carry 0% interest and be good for a maximum of $50,000 for up to two years.
If you’re facing foreclosure, then our nonprofit housing counselors can possibly help you qualify for homeowner assistance programs. For more information, call Springboard Nonprofit at (800) 294-3896.
